There are two srcews on the underside of each pod. Once those are loose, carefully remove the 'face' and unlock the harness clips. They are tricky but tread lightly, you don't want to break these. Next, unscrew the 4-way blinker switch(a/c pod only) and disconnect it. There are two bolts in the bottom inside each pod and on the light pod there is another hiding in the top. Now the pods should be free. Unscrew two downfacing screws on either side in front and above the gage panel. Remove the gage panel cover and the molding around the clear gage panel will come free( it kind of nests in there, so work it around a little). Now there are two more screws holding the steel bracket in place above the gage panel, and the only thing left is removal of the gage panel itself. It is connected by two white harnesses R+L, and three big black ones in the back. Once you've gotten the gage panel out, use small flathead screwdrivers to depress the clips one by one to remove the clear plastic cover and then you're in. After that do what you need to do. Hint: watch which screws you're removing in the gage panel, some are long and some are shorter so they'll hold the gages in place. These must be put back properly or your gages will flop around. Good Luck.
